PM Modi shared a video on Instagram around 7 pm on Sunday evening. Modi said- The government is continuously taking steps for the future of friends students. Those who played with the future of the students. They are rotting in jails.
We have made fast track courts. We are bringing provisions with harsher punishment in Parliament tomorrow. But we also have to think about the future. Our examination system should be reliable and maximum technology should be used in it.
It has been decided to form a high-power task force under the leadership of Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani. Which will focus towards exoneration reform.

23 July: Modi’s announcement at midnight – Paper Leak Amendment Bill will come in Parliament
In a 2.56-minute video message posted on the X handle at 12 am on July 23, Modi said-
Paper leak is not a trivial topic. It is painful for lakhs of students and their parents. So from the paper leak till now, many steps have been taken in the last two and a half months. The culprits have been caught, they are in jail. It was our responsibility to ensure that the students’ year was not wasted, hence the exams of 22 lakh students were conducted in a short time. The result also came on 19th July.
Instructed to set up a fast track court…
He also said- We are not going to be satisfied with this much. Therefore, instructions have been given to form a fast track court. Actually, this entire matter is related to the NEET UG paper leak that happened on May 3.

Tomorrow Jitendra Singh will present a bill related to paper leak in Parliament.
After the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan and the end of the Cockroach Party movement, a bill related to prevention of paper leaks will be presented in Parliament on Monday.
The name of this bill is ‘Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026’. Union Minister Jitendra Singh will present the bill in the Lok Sabha.
Changes will be made in the law made in 2024 through the bill. There will be provision for strict punishment and heavy fine against the accused. State governments and union territories will be able to create special fast track courts. Hearings will be held daily in these courts.
