2. Supreme Court said – How is raising ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogan a crime? Asked the petitioner – How to identify those who raised slogans inside the mosque? During the hearing of a case, the Supreme Court asked how raising the slogan of Jai Shri Ram could be a crime. The court’s comments came during the hearing of a petition in which two people were accused of allegedly raising ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans in the mosque. The court upheld the Karnataka High Court’s September 13 decision to cancel the FIR against the two people who raised the slogan.
What is the whole matter: The matter is of Kadaba police station in South Karnataka district. Petitioner Haider Ali filed a police complaint against Keerthan Kumar and Sachin Kumar on September 25, 2023. It is alleged that both of them had entered the Baduria Jumma Masjid of Aithur village and raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram. The accused approached the High Court for relief. 3. PM Museum asked Rahul to return Nehru’s letters, Sonia had asked for them from the museum in 2008

Nehru Memorial was renamed as PM Museum on 15 June 2023.
PM Museum has asked Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to return letters related to Nehru. According to Prime Minister Museum member Rizwan Qadri, during the UPA tenure, Nehru’s personal letters in 51 boxes were delivered to Sonia Gandhi. These include letters written by Nehru to Edwina Mountbatten, Albert Einstein and Jayaprakash Narayan.
Nehru Memorial to be renamed as PM Museum in 2023: The Prime Minister’s Museum (PM Museum), built at a cost of Rs 306 crore in 15,600 square meters on Teen Murti Marg in Delhi, is named after the Prime Ministers of the country. 4. Yogi said- The tradition of Babar-Aurangzeb will not continue in the country; Opposition cornered over killing of Hindus in Sambhal

On the first day of the winter session of UP Assembly, Yogi responded to the opposition on Sambhal and Bahraich violence.
During the UP Assembly session, CM Yogi Adityanath said, ‘India will have only the tradition of Ram-Krishna and Buddha, not Babar-Aurangzeb. How did Jai Shri Ram become communal? Tomorrow I will say that if I do not like the slogan of Allah Hu Akbar then you will like it. From 1947 till now, 209 Hindus have been killed in Sambhal. Not even once were two words said for innocent Hindus.
Yogi said- There has not been a single riot in UP since 2017: Citing NCRB data, Yogi said, ‘Since 2017 till now, there has been a 97 to 99% reduction in riots in the state. There have been no riots in UP since 2017. From 2012 to 2017, there were 815 riots and 192 deaths in the state. There were 616 communal incidents between 2007 and 2011, in which 121 people died. 5. Petition demanding castration of rape convicts; Petition filed on the 12th anniversary of Nirbhaya case The petition filed in the Supreme Court on the 12th anniversary of the Nirbhaya gangrape-murder demanded that the rape culprits be made impotent. There are also 20 demands including making guidelines on women’s safety and improving laws. Accepting the petition, the Supreme Court said, ‘This demand is very cruel.’ Also, answers have been sought from different ministries and departments of the Central Government. The next hearing will be in January.
Nirbhaya case happened in 2012:On 16 December 2012, 6 people gang-raped Nirbhaya in Delhi. When Nirbhaya’s condition became critical, she was taken to Singapore on 27 December, where she died on 29 December. 4 out of 6 convicts of Nirbhaya were hanged. One had committed suicide in Tihar Jail itself.
Nirbhaya’s mother said- Situation has not changed even after 12 years: Nirbhaya’s mother Asha Devi said, ‘With great sadness I want to say that even after 12 years the situation has not changed, the daughters of the country are not safe. 6. Gabba Test- Due to rain only 33 overs were played on the third day, India 51/4 in the first innings; Australia ahead by 394 runs

It rained intermittently throughout the day in Brisbane on Monday. Indian openers Rahul and Rohit are unbeaten.
