1. Kejriwal will resign from the post of Delhi CM tomorrow, after the resignation the MLAs will elect the new Chief Minister
Kejriwal announced his resignation while addressing workers at the AAP office in Delhi. During this, he also showed the book ‘Bhagat Singh’s Jail Diary’.
Arvind Kejriwal has announced his resignation from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi. He said on Sunday that he will resign in the next two days. However, the assembly will not be dissolved. A new Chief Minister will be elected in the meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party’s legislative party, who will run the government of Delhi till the elections. Kejriwal also made it clear that Manish Sisodia will not take any post. According to sources, any one of Atishi, Kailash Gehlot, Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Sunita Kejriwal can become the Chief Minister.
Kejriwal said- My ordeal was like Mata Sita: The Delhi CM said that when Lord Ram returned from exile after 14 years, Mother Sita had to undergo Agni Pariksha. Now I will undergo Agni Pariksha. Kejriwal says that the BJP has accused him of dishonesty and corruption, now his honesty will be decided in the court of the people. If the people elect him after the Delhi elections in February, he will again become the Chief Minister.
Meaning of Kejriwal’s resignation, 2 things…
- CM, but no power: Arvind Kejriwal came out on bail from jail after 177 days in the Delhi liquor policy case. The Supreme Court laid down a condition that he will not go to the CM office nor sign any file. That means he will not have any power even after coming out of jail and being the Chief Minister. The government will run on the basis of the cabinet.
- 5 months tenure left: The term of the Delhi Assembly is ending in February 2025. This means that the government has only 5 months left for the elections. During this time, governments take populist electoral decisions. Kejriwal is bound by the conditions of the court. There is sympathy with Kejriwal after his release from jail. Kejriwal would like to cash in on this sympathy by demanding elections in Delhi two-three months in advance.
2. Union Minister said- Rahul Gandhi is the country’s number-1 terrorist, there should be a reward on him
Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu called Rahul Gandhi the biggest enemy of the country.
Union Minister and BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu has called Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a terrorist. He said that Rahul Gandhi is not an Indian. He does not even love India. Rahul first tried to use Muslims, but when that did not work, he is now trying to divide Sikhs. Rahul Gandhi is the number one terrorist of the country. The person who catches him should be rewarded, because he is the biggest enemy of the country. The agencies of the country should keep an eye on him. In fact, Rahul Gandhi had said in America that there is concern among the Sikh community in India whether they will be allowed to wear turban and kada or not.
Congress’s response: Party spokesperson Supriya Shrinet said that the person who made his political career by following Rahul Gandhi is now giving cheap statements in the lap of the opposition in the greed for power. Ravneet Bittu has been called a snake in the grass in the scriptures.
Ravneet Singh Bittu was a 3-time MP from Congress: Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu is the grandson of late Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. He met Rahul Gandhi in 2007 and was subsequently made the president of Punjab Youth Congress in 2008. He was first elected as a Lok Sabha MP from Anandpur Sahib in 2009 and then from Ludhiana in 2014 and 2019 on a Congress ticket. Ravneet Singh Bittu joined the BJP just before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and became an MP from Ludhiana.
3. Anil Vij claimed the post of Haryana CM, said- I am the most senior; BJP rejected the claim
Anil Vij has been a part of the Manohar Lal Khattar cabinet twice.
Former Haryana Home Minister and BJP candidate from Ambala Cantt Anil Vij has claimed the post of Chief Minister. He held a press conference and listed the works done by him while being an MLA and a minister. Vij said, ‘I am the most senior leader. I will stake claim to become the Chief Minister on the basis of my seniority. Whether the party makes me or not is their decision. However, BJP has rejected Vij’s claim. Haryana BJP President Mohan Baroli said that it is the leader’s job to stake claim. The organization has decided that Naib Saini will be the Chief Minister of BJP. He will be the Chief Minister if the government is formed.
Shah had called Saini the CM candidate: Before Vij, Gurugram MP and Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh has also staked his claim for the CM post. On 29 June 2024, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had talked about contesting the Haryana Assembly elections on the face of Nayab Saini in Panchkula. Despite this, many senior leaders of Haryana are expressing displeasure over Saini’s name.
4. Every doctor will have a unique ID, now you will know how many doctors are there in the country and what degree they have
The central government has made registration in the National Medical Register (NMR) mandatory for all doctors. Now every doctor will be given a unique ID number. For this, doctors will have to submit MBBS certificate, registration and Aadhar card. This portal has been prepared by the National Medical Commission. The Medical Commission says that till date they do not have any data that can tell how many doctors are there in the country. Although there is an estimated number, but the correct figures will be known now. Apart from this, how many doctors left the country. How many doctors’ licenses were canceled. How many doctors lost their lives. All this information will now be seen on a portal.
Process of registration on NMR: To register on the portal, doctors will have to submit their Aadhaar ID, a digital copy of MBBS degree certificate and a copy of the certificate received from the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India. The form will be verified at the State Medical Council. The State Council will then send this application to the concerned college or institute for further review. After verification, the application will be sent to the National Medical Commission. NMC will verify it and make it live on the portal.
5. Neeraj played Diamond League final despite fracture, revealed by sharing X-ray; was runner-up in the final
Neeraj Chopra has posted the X-ray on social media.
Two-time Olympic medalist javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra played the Diamond League final despite a fracture. He informed about this on social media. Neeraj told that he got injured during practice. X-ray revealed that he had a fracture in his left hand. But with the help of his team, he participated in the 2024 Diamond League. He finished second in it. He threw a best throw of 87.86 meters in his third attempt. He was 0.01 meters away from becoming the champion. Anderson Peters of Grenada took the first place by throwing a best throw of 87.87 meters in his first attempt.
Neeraj won silver in Paris Olympics: Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj won the silver medal in the Paris Olympics held last month. He had a season best throw of 89.45 meters. Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal with a throw of 92.97 meters.
6. PM said- Jharkhand has 3 enemies, JMM-RJD, Congress; RJD is taking revenge, Congress is not concerned with development
Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the BJP’s Parivartan Maharally in Jamshedpur.
Before the assembly elections, PM Narendra Modi was on a Jharkhand tour yesterday. In Jamshedpur, he said that Jharkhand has three enemies, JMM, Congress and RJD. RJD has been taking revenge since the formation of Jharkhand. On the other hand, Congress hates Jharkhand. Despite being in power for so many years, Congress has done nothing for the development of Jharkhand. Congress is standing with the Bangladeshi infiltrators of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. PM also said that if you want development of the state, then give BJP a chance.
Elections may be held by the end of the year: Jharkhand assembly elections may be held in November or December this year. The term of the assembly is going to end on 5 January 2025. The last election was held in December 2019. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Congress and RJD contested the elections in alliance and won. JMM won the maximum 30 seats, while Congress won 16 seats, while the then ruling BJP won 25 seats.
