A big news has come out from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. On the night of August 2, a 33 -year -old youth living in the police station area of Prayagraj posted a post on Instagram, in which ‘I ate poison’. This post was received at 10:59 pm at the UP Police Social Media Center in Lucknow through the alert system of Meta Company.
Taking this alert seriously, Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Krishna gave instructions for immediate action. Social media center traced his location from the young man’s mobile number Prayagraj Alerted the police. After this, Manoj Kumar Singh, the police station in -charge, reached the young man’s house in just 10 minutes with his team.
During interrogation, it was revealed that the young man had eaten a rat drug. The police took him to the hospital without delay. The young man’s life was saved due to timely treatment. After treatment, the condition of the young man became stable. During counseling, he promised not to take such steps in future. Family members reached the Prayagraj police, who reached on time and expressed their gratitude to the Prayagraj police.
Let us know that since 2022, a special alert system is working between UP Police and Meta to prevent suicide. With its help, between 1 January 2023 to 31 July 2025, 1195 people have been saved.
