Papa had said that if you like to watch movies every day, have to study continuously, have to learn new things and know what is happening in the world, only then you can succeed in this profession. Otherwise this path will become even more difficult.

Question: When you first narrated the idea of the film to Sanjay Mishra, what was his reaction?

answer: He said with great love- “Very well written son.” Sanjay ji supported me from the beginning. This was the first time I went to give a narration to a senior and such a big actor. To be honest, it was a little nervous, because everyone knows how amazing Sanjay ji is.

But as soon as I started the narration, he kept listening very carefully and also told points in between. This made me felt that he was taking a keen interest in the story.

Question: What do you think in this short film that will attract the audience the most?

answer: First of all I would say that when you watch this film, do not pay attention to only performance. There are performances, but with it you will get a truth in it. We have tried to tell the story with full honesty.

Right now you may find this subject a little sensitive, but perhaps after watching the film, you will feel that it is not just a sensitive issue, but our reality. Within this we have put many different layers, which will not be right now to tell, because it will reduce the fun of the film. Actually this story touches the life of a postman and a man.

Question: Many films have been made on India-Pakistan relations before. What is different from before in your film?

answer: Our film will be closer to reality, but I have always kept one thing in mind that we should not spread hatred about any place. First of all, what are the situation of living there? And there are good and bad people everywhere, you see both places. So we never tried to spread hatred in this film. This is the story of a postman who is going through a situation, and it is based on it. So you will get to see that.

Question: What was the feedback after watching the film of the film’s lead actor Sanjay ji and your father Anees ji?

Answer: After watching the film, Sanjay ji kept quiet for about two minutes. At that time I got nervous whether he did not like the film or not. Then suddenly he said, “Hey, it is very good…. This film is such that it will calm you for 2-5 minutes.” He then told me, “Enjoyed a lot, son, he has made a very good film.”

My father also saw the film and he also liked it very much. He said, “If you have made such a good film in such a low resources, then think, when you get more good resources and time, you will do even more great job.”

Question: Anees ji has a very deep relationship with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. How did your experiences live with these two stars?

answer: My first experience with Salman sir is childhood. In 2011, when the film ‘Ready’ was being shot in Sri Lanka, I was also there with Papa. At the same time, the Indian cricket team was also stopped in the hotel. I jokingly said that I have to bat and Salman will bowl. Salman sir immediately called the players of the cricket team and got into the field with me. He was bowling, I was batting and Salman sir himself was doing fielding. This moment will always be memorable for me.

Your father is from the film industry, what is the benefit and harm you get?

answer: Everything has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of the film industry being a family is that people know you a little, but if your work is not good then this identity is of no use. The disadvantage is that you will always be compared to your father. This is difficult, but one has to be ready for it. It happens in every industry that if your father does the same thing then it will be comparison, but over time your work makes your identity.
