At around 6 pm on Sunday evening, Nissing resident Sumit Thakur was going out to walk his two pet Labras Jimmy and Max. Then a black cobra snake was seen entering from the gate of the house. Before Sumit could understand anything, both the dogs ran towards the snake. Jimmy kept fighting for 25 seconds. Sumit told that as soon as the snake spread its hood, Jimmy attacked it first. During this, the cobra stung his mouth and paws. Despite being stung, Jimmy continued fighting the snake. The other Labra Max also kept roaming around the snake, so that it could not move forward. He had become a member of the family. Full care was taken of his food, drink and accommodation. In summer, there was arrangement for AC and cooler, while in winter there was a heater. All three children were fond of Jimmy-Max. Sumit told that Max had also come home with him. There are three children in the house and all three had a special attachment to both the Labras.
