There were scratch marks on many parts of the child’s body, which shows that she tried to save herself. Police said that action would be taken against the owner of the house who had given a room to the accused without informing the police.
In 2023, the accused also called the girl by luring them to eat. Police said that in September 2023, the accused also raped a girl. Even then, he was called a six -year -old girl with the greed to eat, raped her, strangled and ran away leaving her body in a bucket in a closed room.
He was later arrested by the police from Bihar. Since then he was lodged in Thane Central Jail. However, he escaped from the court campus even before the hearing in August this August. Six police constables carrying him were suspended on charges of negligence.
