Soni Kumari, a disabled student from Ramnagar village in Gopalganj district of Bihar, used to walk two kilometers every day with the dream of becoming a doctor. After the video of the girl went viral on social media, BJP MLA Maithili Thakur immediately spoke to Gopalganj DM Pawan Kumar Sinha and asked for immediate help. After the DM’s order, District Education Officer Yogesh Kumar gave a tricycle to the girl but it was broken, like a second hand one. Now people are also angry after seeing such a joke with the girl, because the pictures of the broken tricycle are now becoming increasingly viral on social media.
Gopalganj This story is no less than an inspiration for those other children who shy away from going to school despite having good resources. This 15 year old innocent girl from Gopalganj’s passion for education and struggle to go to school will surprise everyone. We are talking about the same innocent girl who is disabled in both legs, recently her video going to school went viral on social media. 15 year old Soni Kumari is a resident of Ramnagar village of Bhore block of Gopalganj. Soni’s father Nandkishore Ram died soon after birth. Soni Kumari’s mother Gulaichi Devi has been raising her disabled daughter since childhood by working as a labourer.
Video of broken tricycle goes viral
Gopalganj district administration also hurriedly gifted a tricycle to disabled Soni Kumari. The picture of the tricycle being presented by the district administration was also shared on social media platforms. During this time, the administration won a lot of applause by immediately providing the tricycle with help, but now this help of the district administration has become a thorn in the neck for it.
What will Sony do with such a tricycle?
In fact, a new video of Soni Kumari is now going viral on social media, in which it can be clearly seen that the tricycle given by the Gopalganj district administration got damaged within three to four days, that is, it is no longer fit for use. Its tires were old and had started bursting. It is not possible to run it by filling it with air. The handle of this bicycle is also broken. There is an atmosphere of despair in the family after such help from the district administration.
DM said this in the whole matter
On this matter, Gopalganj DM Pawan Kumar Sinha said that Soni’s family is getting the benefits of all the schemes. Soni was fifth pass in a government school, but has taken admission in class 1 in a private school by taking the benefit of Right to Education. His age is 15 years. His three certificates have different ages. Overall, taking admission in class one at the age of 15 is a matter of concern. On the question of the video of the tricycle going viral, he said that this is not a problem, he is not yet 18 years old, due to which we cannot give him a battery operated tricycle.
