National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the UGC NET results on Thursday. In this, 1,12,070 candidates managed to qualify for PhD. Apart from this, 53,694 have passed the exam for Assistant Professor posts. While 4,970 have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

11,21,225 candidates had registered for this year’s UGC-NET, out of which 6,84,224 appeared for the exam. The retest was conducted across 280 cities in India over 11 days from August 21 to September 5, 2024. The exam was conducted in 83 subjects. Computer Based Test (CBT) mode examination was conducted in 21 shifts.

National Testing Agency announces changes in JEE Main 2025 exam pattern, removes optional questions in Section B

National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an important change in JEE Main 2025 (Under this, the option to select questions in Section B of the exam has been removed. NTA issued a notification on Thursday, in which JEE Main 2025 The official website for the exam was released.

In another notification, NTA said that the option to select questions in Section B, which was introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic, will no longer be available. This means that all the candidates appearing in JEE Main 2025 will have to solve all the 5 questions of Section B.

Arrest warrant against Sheikh Hasina, order for production till November 18

Bangladesh’s International Criminal Tribunal on Thursday issued arrest warrants against 45 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and top Awami League leaders. This order has come in the case of alleged crimes against humanity during the student movement.

According to the report, 46 people including Sheikh Hasina have been arrested and ordered to be produced before November 18. A total of 200 cases have been registered against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Of these, 140 are related to murder.
