A 30-year-old medical student at Delhi’s Maulana Azad Medical College committed suicide, officials said on Tuesday. According to the police, the body of a student named Amit Kumar was found hanging from a fan in his hostel room on Tuesday evening. Amit was a first year MD (Doctor of Medicine) student.
