On Monday (22 January) morning, terrorists tried to launch a major attack on an army camp in Rajouri, Jammu. However, the security forces foiled it. The army said that firing is still going on from both sides. More information about the incident is yet to come.

On July 16, terrorists attacked security forces in Desa in Doda district of Jammu. During the search operation, 4 soldiers including an army captain were martyred in the firing by terrorists. A policeman was also killed.

On July 8, 5 soldiers including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) were martyred in a terrorist attack in Kathua district. There have been 10 major terrorist attacks in Jammu region since April 22. 12 soldiers have been martyred in these.
