Three more suspected Nipah virus patients have been admitted to hospital in Kozhikode district of Kerala. Their samples have been sent for testing. State Health Minister K Muraleedharan gave this information. The minister said that no new case of Nipah has been reported in the district so far. However, as a precautionary measure, surveillance and contact tracing is ongoing. He said a team of experts from the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) would reach Kozhikode on Saturday. The team will assess the situation in the district and review the arrangements made for prevention. On the petition filed regarding alleged irregularities in the on-screen marking (OSM) system in the CBSE class 12th examination, the Delhi High Court has refused to give instructions to reopen the re-evaluation portal. The vacation bench of Justice Neena Bansal Krishna and Justice Madhu Jain said that no interim order will be passed in this regard. Now the hearing will be held by the regular bench in July. Petitioner NSUI had requested the High Court to reopen the portal for three days. Officials said that Satish Seth and Gautam Doshi of Mumbai have been arrested under the provisions of Anti-Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Officials said that ED has taken transit remand of Satish Seth and Gautam Doshi. Both of them have previously worked as directors in Reliance Telecom Limited. ED is bringing him to Delhi, as this case is registered in the national capital. It is noteworthy that as part of the investigation into the alleged loan fraud of Rs 114.98 crore in SBI, CBI had registered a case against both of them and raided their premises.
