AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday said that if offering Namaz on the roads is wrong, then the same rule should be applicable for celebrating festivals of every religion on the roads. Addressing a gathering at his party headquarters, he alleged that efforts were being made to marginalize Muslims and make them second-class citizens.
Citing Article 25 of the Constitution, he raised the question that when religious processions are taken out from Uttarakhand to Delhi and the roads are closed, then why is no objection raised, whereas the prayers offered on the roads are for a very short period.
