Shaina NC, leader of Shiv Sena Shinde faction in Maharashtra, has been appointed as the national spokesperson of the party. This appointment was made by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who is the head of Shiv Sena. Fashion designer -turned -politician Shaina’s term will be one year. Odisha: 2 ABVP leaders arrested in case of self -immolation of Balasore student
In the case of a suicide student in Balasore, Odisha, the police have arrested 2 student leaders associated with ABVP on the charge of committing suicide and criminal conspiracy. These include ABVP’s State Joint Secretary Shubhra Samit Nayak and ABVP activist Jyoti Prakash Biswal at Fakir Mohan College. He was earlier described as a hero who tried to save the student, but the investigation revealed that he was already aware of the student’s self -immolation scheme.
