Padikkal and Pant returning after stumps on the first day of India-Sri Lanka Test.
The first Test between India and Sri Lanka is being played at the Galle International Stadium. Sunday is the second day of the match.
Team India will start playing with the score of 288/2. Devdutt Padikkal will take his innings forward with 131 and Rishabh Pant with 27 runs.
Rain can become a hindrance in the day’s play. According to weather website Accuweather, there is a forecast of 73% rain in Galle today. Play had to be stopped twice on the first day due to rain.

Pant close to 100 sixes in test
Wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has a chance to complete 100 sixes. He has hit 98 sixes and after hitting 2 more sixes, he will become the first Indian to hit 100 sixes in Tests. Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag has the record of 91 sixes.

Kotak said- Rahul can contest again
