Akshay Kumar’s niece Simar Bhatia is going to make her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Ikkis’. The actor is feeling very happy and proud about Simar’s debut. Akshay has expressed his emotions through social media.

Akshay shared Simar’s poster from ‘Ikkis’ on Instagram and wrote – ‘Having you in my lap as a little girl and now seeing you stepping into the world of films, life has truly come full circle.

Simar, I have seen you transform from a shy child who used to hide behind her mother to a confident young woman. Who is ready to face the camera as if she was made for it only.

Akshay further wrote- ‘The journey is difficult, but I know, you will move forward in it with the same brightness, same honesty and same stubborn determination that is there in our family.

Hum Bhatia’s funda is simple: work, do it from the heart and then watch the magic of the universe. I am very proud of you son. The world is about to meet Simar Bhatia but for me you have always been a star. Keep shining. Jai Mahadev.’

Simar is the daughter of Akshay’s sister Alka.

In this, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda is playing the role of Arun Khetrapal. Whereas in Ikkis, late veteran actor Dharmendra will be seen as Arun’s father. This will be his last film. This film is going to be released on 25th December.
