Police arrested a 45-year-old psychologist in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He is accused of blackmailing and harassing more than 50 of his students.
According to the police, the accused runs a clinic and residential program in Nagpur East. It is alleged that he has been harassing his students (boys and girls) for the last 15 years.

Dalit girl sexually exploited for 5 years in Kerala, 27 arrested

A Dalit girl was being sexually exploited for the last 5 years in Pathanmitta, Kerala. The victim is an athlete. Presently his age is 18 years. An educational institute noticed a change in the girl’s behaviour. Then this was informed to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
The girl told the counselor that in the last 5 years, 62 people raped her. A case has been registered under POCSO against 40 of the accused named by the girl. These include coaches, fiancees, fellow athletes, classmates and some boys living around the house.
So far 27 people have been arrested in this case. These also include 4 minors. According to the police, 10 FIRs have been registered in 2 police stations. 7 cases were registered in Pathanmitta police station. Police arrested 17 people and 4 minors. Elavumthitta police station arrested 6 people.
