In Bengaluru, a man murdered his girlfriend by stabbing her and lived with her dead body for a day. The incident took place in a service apartment in Indiranagar.

The name of the deceased girl is Maya Gogoi Deka (19), while the name of the suspected accused is Aarav Hanoy (21). The victim was a resident of Assam, while the accused was a resident of Kannur, Kerala.

Both of them had booked this service apartment together for three days, where he murdered his girlfriend.

The accused remained with the body for a day after committing murder at night. According to the police, Maya had come to this service apartment to meet her boyfriend on November 23. Police suspect that the murder occurred on the night of 24 November, and that Aarav Hanoy spent time with the body until the next day. At 8:20 am on Tuesday morning, he left the apartment and took a cab and switched off the phone.

After he left, when the housekeeping staff came to clean the room, the gate was locked and a foul smell was coming from it. When the staff opened the gate, the girl’s body was found on the bed. After this the police were called. Police reached here with dog squad and forensic experts.
