India has reached a strong position in the India-Bangladesh first test match being played at Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium. Bangladesh’s first innings was reduced to 149 runs on the second day. Till stumps on Friday, the Indian team has scored 81 runs after losing 3 wickets in the second innings. The team had got a lead of 227 runs in the first innings, now its lead has increased to 308 runs. Rishabh Pant returned unbeaten after scoring 12 runs and Shubman Gill returned unbeaten after scoring 33 runs.
Earlier today, Shakib Al Hasan dropped an easy catch of Akash Deep. Akash Deep bowled two bowlers on two consecutive balls. Jasprit Bumrah has also completed 400 wickets in international cricket.
