Ingredients required to make paratha from leftover lentils
-Remaining dal – 1 cup
-Wheat flour – 2 cups
-Finely chopped onion – 1
-Green chilli – 1-2
-Coriander leaves – 2 teaspoons
-Red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder – as per taste
-Celery – half teaspoon
-Salt – as per need
-Oil or ghee – for baking
Easy method of making Dal Paratha
1. Prepare mix of flour and lentils
First of all, take wheat flour in a vessel. Now add onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and spices to the remaining dal and mix well. Knead this prepared mixture by slowly adding it to the flour. Keep in mind that the dough should not be too hard or too loose.
2. Make dough and roll paratha
Now make small balls of dough and roll them into round shapes. Try that the paratha is not too thick, so that it cooks well.
3. Bake on pan
Put the paratha on a hot pan and apply ghee or oil on both the sides and cook till it becomes golden. As the paratha gets cooked, its aroma will spread throughout the kitchen.
