Raising questions on the transfer of West Bengal IPS officer Bushra Bano, former cricketer and MP Mohammad Azharuddin said – It is very worrying that an IPS officer was transferred after saying ‘Assalam alekum’ and ‘Inshallah’.

The West Bengal government had transferred Bano on Monday. Actually, on September 13, Bano had posted a video on social media, which created a lot of uproar. His transfer is being linked to this.

IPS Dr. Bushra Bano was working as Additional SP in Kharagpur, West Medinipur. After the transfer, he has been appointed Deputy Commandant of the 4th Battalion of the State Armed Police (SAP).
In place of Bano, Parth Ghosh will now take over as the new Additional SP in Kharagpur, West Medinipur.
