French PM Sebastian Lecornu has resigned in just 27 days. He took over as Prime Minister on 9 September, resigned on 6 October. President Macron has accepted his resignation.
PM Lecornu announced the new cabinet on Sunday, but after 12 hours he resigned and surprised everyone. Lecornu is the shortest Prime Minister in the history of France.
Lacornu was the fourth PM of the country in 13 months. Former Prime Minister François Bayaru resigned in September due to lack of confidence vote.
