A representative of the North East India Festival in Singapore told NDTV that Garg was having trouble breathing while diving scuba. At the same time, several reports said that the singer’s scuba diving was rescued from the sea in the accident, but died in the hospital.

Anuj Kumar Borua, representative of the North East India Festival, told NDTV- ‘We have to tell the news of the death of Zubine Garg with great grief. During the scuba diving, he had trouble breathing and was immediately given a CPR, after which he was taken to Singapore General Hospital. Despite efforts to save them, he was declared dead at 2.30 pm in ICU.
