Producer-director Anurag Kashyap is making his debut as an actor in Malayalam cinema with the film ‘Rifle Club’. Recently this film has been released, in which Anurag Kashyap’s look and character are being praised a lot. During an interview, Anurag told that he loves Malayalam cinema very much. He described Malayalam cinema as better than Bollywood.

During an interview with Gulf News, Anurag Kashyap shared his experiences of working in the Malayalam film industry. He said- I was very excited to work in ‘Rifle Club’. When director Aashiq Abu had announced the film, I myself went to his Instagram page and wrote on his post, do you want a Hindi speaking actor? This is how I became a part of this film and today I am very happy to do it.
Anurag Kashyap, while comparing Malayalam film industry with Bollywood, has said that Malayalam film industry is better than Bollywood. Taking a dig at Bollywood, he said that there is no star system in Malayalam films. There is no separate vanity van for any star. Everyone lives together in harmony. Whereas in Bollywood a star considers himself different and remains isolated from the rest. He lives in his pride.

Let us tell you that during a recent interview, Anurag Kashyap had talked about the rising fees of stars and the culture of vanity vans in Bollywood. Anurag Kashyap had said – The way the fees of stars are increasing in Bollywood, the budget of the film increases a lot. Apart from this, their worst demand is that their chef will cook the food. Who charges Rs 2 lakh for cooking daily. Some actors have 5 vanity vans. In which there is a separate room for gymming, cooking, eating, bathing and line practice. This is madness. There must be a mad person who drives with 5 vanity vans.
