At least 18 Pakistani troops have died in an attack by separatists in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. According to the news agency AFP, Pakistani soldiers were going to campaign against separatists in Kalat district. Meanwhile, 70 to 80 fighters attacked the police car.

Pakistani army officials issuing statements that 12 terrorists have also died in this encounter. The army said that their operation against the terrorists would continue and the culprits of the incident would be arrested and sent behind bars.

According to Dawn’s report, Balochistan continues to campaign against Pakistani soldiers separatists in many districts. A total of 23 terrorists have been successful in different campaigns in Balochistan in the last 24 hours.

According to reports, the Baloch Liberation Army is being held responsible for this attack. However, BLA has not taken responsibility for this attack.

What is Balochistan Liberation Army Many people in Balochistan believe that after India-Pakistan partition, they wanted to live as a free country. But without his will, he was included in Pakistan. Due to this, the struggle of the army and people in Balochistan continues even today.

According to BBC, there are many organizations demanding independence in Balochistan but Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) is the most powerful organization. The organization came into existence in the 70s but has increased its impact in the 21st century.

Bla wants to liberate Balochistan from the Pakistani government and China. He believes that he has the right to the resources of Balochistan. The Government of Pakistan included the Balochistan Liberation Army in the list of terrorist organizations in 2007.

Terrorist incidents increase in Balochistan and Khyberpakhtun Khwa The Government of Pakistan is struggling with Baloch rebel in Balochistan and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) fighters in Khyberpakhtun Khwa. The ceasefire agreement between the banned Pakistani government and terrorist Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Group broke in November 2022.

Since then, these incidents have increased. According to Dawn’s report, in 2024, there were a total of 444 terrorist attacks in Pakistan. In this, 685 soldiers lost their lives. It proved to be the deadliest year for the Pakistani Army in the last decade.

1,612 people also died in the terrorist attack. This is 63% higher than in 2023. Last year 934 terrorists were killed. On an average, 7 people have died every day in terrorist attacks in Pakistan. This is the highest in the last 9 years.

Pakistan government is unable to control TTP

The Government of Pakistan took several measures to stop TTP. Earlier, the terrorist organization was appealed to establish a ceasefire. Seeing not getting success in this, the government of Afghanistan was pressurized not to support terrorists, although it did not work.

After this, Pakistan also fired more than 5 lakh Afghan refugees in November 2023 but did not benefit much.
