Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said on Saturday that after the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, Pakistan has suffered more losses than it can bear.

He claimed that in the last 4 years, 4 thousand Pakistani soldiers have been killed, while more than 20 thousand have been injured. Dar said that we want that Afghan land should not be used against Pakistan.

Pakistani Deputy PM appealed to Taliban to take strict action against militants. Dar said that terrorists of Pakistani Taliban (TTP) should not be given shelter in the border area or they should be handed over to Pakistan.

Dar said- Border closed due to security reasons

Dar said that we are not happy to close the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, but this has been done for security reasons. He said that most of the Taliban members want peace, but some are not ready to accept it.

He also said that Pakistan has fulfilled all the promises made during his visit to Kabul in April and the Taliban also accepts this.

Claim- Taliban detained hundreds of TTP fighters

Dar claimed that recently the Taliban government has informed him that hundreds of TTP militants have been detained. Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Muttaki has also asked Pakistan to send a delegation to confirm the arrest of these militants.

He also said that Pakistan is considering supplying essential food items to the Afghan people on the demand of UN. He expressed hope that the Prime Minister and the Army will take the right decision in this matter.

Dar said- Afghan land should not be used against us

Dar stressed that Pakistan’s policy is clear that Afghanistan’s land should not be used against Pakistan. For this, he continuously talked to the Taliban, but till now no positive results have been received.

The Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister said that his army is ready to help the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza. However, for this the roles, regulations and rights must first be clear.

He said that disarming Hamas is the work of Palestinian law and Pakistan and other countries should not interfere in it.
