After the attack, the injured have been admitted to Quetta’s Civil Hospital.
Baloch National Party rally took place on Tuesday night in Quetta, Pakistan. The bomb exploded soon after the rally ended, killing 11 people. More than 30 people have been injured, who are undergoing treatment. The injured include former MP Ahmed Nawaz and party leader Moses Baloch.
According to reports, a rally was taken out on the fourth death anniversary of former Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Ataullah Megal at Shahwani Stadium. This was followed by a suicide attack in the parking lot.
The suicidal attacker waited for Mangal to leave before the explosion on the Lak Pass in March. However, no organization has taken responsibility for the explosion yet.
According to eyewitnesses, the attacker was without beard. He was 35–40 years old. He had about 8 kg of explosives filled with ball bearings.

Before the explosion, BNP acting president Sajid Tarin posted a picture of the rally.
Sardar Akhtar was attacked in March too
Earlier, others involved in the protests of Sardar Akhtar Mengal and BNP-M survived in a suicide attack in March 2025 near Lakpas area of Mastung district. The attacker had blown himself away from the picket site, as it was stopped by security guards. So he could not reach the stage where BNP-M leaders were present.
