The Pakistani Air Force dropped 8 laser-guided bombs on its own countrymen from J-17 aircraft of China at 2 pm on Sunday night. The Pakistani Air Force carried out the attack on a village in Tirah Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. According to media reports, about 30 people were killed in this airstrike, including women and children.

The army says that the target of these attacks was Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) bomb making hideout. The local police told the media that two TTP commanders, Aman Gul and Masood Khan were making bombs hiding in mosques. Some videos related to this attack are viral on social media, but they have not been confirmed.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP): Pakistan’s rebel organization

In the report, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan was described as Pakistan’s most dangerous terrorist organization for the second consecutive year. In 2024, the group carried out 482 attacks, causing 558 deaths, which is 91% higher than in 2023.
