The third round of peace talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan ended without any agreement on Saturday. Both countries blamed each other for the failure of talks.
The Afghan government accused Pakistan of adopting an irresponsible stance during the two-day talks held in Istanbul under the mediation of Qatar and Turkey.
Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that we felt that Pakistan would put forward practical and enforceable conditions, so that the problem could be solved. He said, ‘Pakistani people are our brothers and friends, but any attack will be given a befitting reply.
The Pakistan government did not immediately react to this statement. However, Pakistan had said on Friday, ‘The dispute has increased in the talks and no progress has been made.
Both sides signed a ceasefire in Qatar on October 19 after the conflict began on October 9. The second round of talks on dealing with terrorism held in Turkey from 25 to 30 October ended without any agreement. However the ceasefire continues.
Afghan spokesperson said – no permission to harm security
Mujahid said that the Taliban will not allow anyone to use Afghanistan’s soil against another country, nor will it allow any country to harm Afghanistan’s sovereignty, independence or security from its soil.
Pakistani minister said – Afghanistan gives shelter to TTP group
Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said-
Islamabad will not support steps by the Taliban government that are not in the interest of the Afghan people or neighboring countries.
Pakistan says the Taliban did not fulfill the promises made to the international community in the 2021 Doha peace agreement, especially the promise to fight terrorism.
Pakistan believes that Kabul is harboring groups like Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which has carried out attacks in Pakistan. In response, Pakistan carried out several air strikes inside Afghanistan.
The Taliban blamed Pakistan for the blasts in Kabul last month. At the same time, Taliban refuses to give shelter to TTP and expresses commitment to mutual security.

Asif told a private TV channel, ‘There is complete opposition in the talks. The talks have reached an indefinite stage. Also now there is no way for fourth round of talks.
He reiterated that Pakistan will recognize only the written agreement. Asif said, ‘If there is any attack from Afghan soil, we will respond to it. As long as there is no attack, the ceasefire will remain intact.
Pakistan had dropped bombs in Kabul
The conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan began on October 9 when Islamabad attacked Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) positions in Kabul. Afghan people are blaming Pakistan for border dispute and airspace violation.
The root of the dispute between the two countries is the Durand Line, which was drawn between India and Afghanistan during the British era. It divides the traditional land of both the countries and the Pathans on both sides never accept it.
There was fatal firing between the two sides at at least seven places on the Durand Line. Both sides claimed heavy losses from each other. According to Reuters, Pakistan said it killed more than 200 Afghan Taliban and their allies, while Afghanistan claims it eliminated 58 Pakistani soldiers.

Pakistan broke ceasefire and attacked Afghanistan
Before the talks, conflict had started again between Afghanistan and Pakistan on Thursday. According to news agency AFP, Pakistani soldiers opened fire in Spin Boldak area of Afghanistan at around 5 pm.
Afghan military source told the news agency that Pakistani soldiers targeted civilians with heavy weapons. According to some media reports, retaliatory attacks have also been carried out from Afghanistan.
