The Canadian government has issued orders to deport three criminals who opened fire at Capes Cafe, the famous comedian Kapil Sharma’s cafe in Canada. Their identity has not been revealed yet. According to foreign media reports, all these accused are related to Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

This action has been taken by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). The agency has deported three Indian nationals following an investigation into an extortion network targeting Punjabi-origin business owners in British Columbia.
The deportations, announced on Nov. 7, are the first deportations conducted under the BC Extortion Task Force, a joint operation of the CBSA, RCMP and local police agencies. The 40-member task force was established earlier this year to coordinate intelligence and enforcement efforts against international organized crime groups operating in the province.
According to CBSA officials, an additional 78 foreign nationals are currently under immigration investigation for suspected ineligibility to enter Canada, including possible ties to criminal activity involving extortion cases.
Extortion cases have increased rapidly in British Columbia in early 2025. Criminals are using social media platforms to demand cryptocurrency payments from business owners. When their demands were not met, they resorted to violence and arson. There are many small businesses in Surrey, the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley. Who have been attacked. These include Surrey’s repeatedly targeted Capes Cafe.
However, authorities have not publicly disclosed the identities, nationalities or destinations of the deported individuals. But, law enforcement sources reveal that many of the victims and criminals involved in this network are of Punjabi origin. The CBSA cited operational security concerns and confidentiality provisions under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act as reasons for not providing further information.
Authorities say the takedown is an important step in ongoing efforts to dismantle the organized network behind recent violence and intimidation targeting members of B.C.’s Punjabi business community.
