Indian Idol fame singer Pawandeep Rajan had a major car accident on 5 May 2025. He had a performance the next day, for which he had left for Ahmedabad, but before reaching the airport, his car collided with a truck late at night, due to which both his legs were broken. After staying away from the limelight for a long time, Pawandeep Rajan has now told for the first time what happened that night and what was the reason for the accident.

While talking about the accident in Salim Suleman’s podcast, Pawandeep Rajan said, ‘A show had come, a call had come, I was about to leave during the day. We left a little in the evening. I said we would reach by morning and at 3:00 in the morning there was a parked truck. I slept exactly like this and as usual, I come from a village like this, so I sleep and when I wake up in the morning, I come to the airport. But this time when I woke up, both my legs were broken.

Pawandeep further said, ‘Then I am asking them from the car to take me out. I was sleeping and by the time I woke up the accident had already happened. When Rajandeep was asked how his accident happened, he said, ‘A truck was standing on the road, it was not moving. The driver was asleep, he drove straight into it.

Pawandeep has further told that after the accident he was stuck in the car for a long time. He said, ‘I was sitting like this, I couldn’t even come out. I had only one hand intact and then I asked her to take me out too. No one was touching there. Were not even taking it out. Then the police came.

Pawandeep has told that after the accident, his car caught fire and he was trapped in the car itself. Then a person pulled him out of the car. After reaching the hospital, Pawandeep Rajan informed the family about the accident.

After long treatment, Pawandeep has now started walking. Recently he also gave a musical performance with Salim-Sulaiman.
