10. Chandigarh’s heritage auctioned in the international market, advocate said – stolen and taken away

Chandigarh’s heritage was once again auctioned abroad. Four lots of furniture designed by Pierre Jeanneret were sold for 20,800 pounds (about Rs 21.8 lakh) at Britain’s Swords Auction House. The government identification marks of Chandigarh were clearly visible on them.
