The Consulate has said that we have raised this issue with the American law enforcement and have demanded strict action against those who carried out this incident. A footage of Swaminarayan temple is going viral on social media, in which it is seen that the road and signboard outside the temple have been vandalized using abusive language. The temple was vandalized before a prayer meeting was to be held in the afternoon.

The foundation’s executive director, Suhag Shukla, said on X that it was hard to understand how someone could be so cowardly as to attack a Hindu temple to express hatred against an elected leader. The attack should be seen in the context of recent threats to Hindu and Indian institutions.

We have lodged a complaint with the US authorities. We hope that the right action will be taken in the matter.
