1. Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh killed in Iran, blast at home
Hamas’ political chief Ismail Haniyeh has been killed. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed this. IRGC said that his house in Tehran was targeted and a blast was carried out. Under Haniyeh’s supervision, Hamas carried out the biggest attack on Israel in 75 years on October 7 last year, in which more than 1200 people were killed.
