North Korea shoots 30 school students.
In North Korea, Kim Jong Un’s dictatorial government shot 30 minor students in public. These students were accused of watching serials made in South Korea, which are called Korean dramas or K-dramas. According to the Korean newspaper ‘JongAng Daily’, the incident took place last week, the information of which has come to light now.
According to South Korea’s local TV channel ‘Chosun’, the students had watched several South Korean dramas stored in pen drives. These pen drives were sent to North Korea via balloons from Seoul last month.

The law also covers books, songs and photographs. One provision stipulates that using South Korean language or singing styles can lead to up to two years of forced labour.
Last month, around 30 minors aged 17 years were sentenced to life imprisonment and death. According to a BBC report, in January this year, two minors were found with Korean videos, after which they were sentenced to 12 years of hard labour.
