In the previous tenure of Donald Trump, an US Navy Seal team launched an intelligence mission on the banks of North Korea in 2019.
The purpose of this mission was to install an electronic device to spy the communication system of North Korea ruler Kim Jong-un. The mission was unsuccessful and unarmed North Koreans were killed.
On a cold night of January 2019, a team of the American Navy Seal quietly came out of a submarine and moved towards a rocky coast in North Korea.
There were the same soldiers in this team who killed Osama bin Laden. His goal was to spy Kim Jong-un to help America in nuclear dialogue.
This mission was so dangerous that it was approved by the then President Donald Trump himself. However, this mission failed as soon as it started.

How did the mission fail?
The seal team felt that there was no one on the coast. They arrived in deep water, wearing night-vision glasses and wet clothes. But then a small North Korean boat came out of the dark. Torch lights from the boat were falling on the water.
Contact with the mission commander was not possible and there was a danger of being caught. The seal team felt that they were caught, so they immediately fired.
In a few seconds, all three people aboard the boat were killed. The seal team later came to know that these people were unarmed citizens who had come out to gather sepians.
After this incident, the team went back to the sea without planting the device and approached their submarine and escaped. No US Army soldier was injured in the incident.

Keep the mission secret for 6 years
This mission was kept secret till date and neither America nor North Korea ever made any comment on it. This mission has been revealed for the first time.
This information is based on interviews of more than two dozen government officials, former military personnel and members of the Trump administration.
According to US officials, the bodies of the slain citizens were immersed in water so that they could not be detected.
Soon after the incident, the US spy satellite saw an increase in North Korea’s military activities in that region. But North Korea did not make any public statement on these deaths.
It was also not clear whether North Korea came to know about the incident or not. The Trump administration did not even inform the key members of the Congress about this mission.
Even after the failure of the mission, a nuclear summit was held between Trump and Kim Jong-Un at the end of 2019 but no agreement could be reached. After this North Korea intensified the missile test.
