Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the UN General Assembly amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. He said that he did not want to give a speech at UNGA this time. But the lies being spread about Israel forced him to defend his country.

Netanyahu said that Israel wants peace. We have brought peace and will continue to do so. When I addressed this assembly last year, we were about to make a historic deal with Saudi Arabia. But Hamas attacked and stopped this deal.

In this area we have rail lines, Energy lines and fiber optic lines would have been laid which would have benefited 200 crore people.

Now look at this second map, this is the map of terror. Holding both the maps in his hands, Netanyahu said – On one side there is hope for the future and on the other side there is darkness of the future. After this the Israeli PM called Iraq, Syria and Iran a curse for the region.”

Netanyahu showed countries that were a boon and a curse for the Middle East and Africa in 2 maps.

Netanyahu said – I will deal with Saudi Arabia Peace agreement between Saudi and Israel is very important. Trade and tourism have increased between the two countries. The peace deal between the two countries will change the entire Middle East. Iran is preventing this from happening.

As the Prime Minister of Israel, I will make a peace deal with Saudi. No representatives of Saudi Arabia and Iran were present at the UN General Assembly during Netanyahu’s speech.

Mahmoud Abbas said in UNGA that America has allowed Israel to commit crimes on Gaza.

‘Israel’s madness must end’ Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas also spoke at UNGA on 26 September. Criticizing America’s support for Israel, he said, “This madness has to end. The whole world is responsible for what is happening to our people.”

Abbas had said that the death toll in Gaza is continuously increasing. Despite this, America is providing diplomatic help and weapons to Israel. America has allowed Israel to commit crimes on Gaza by continuously vetoing the ceasefire resolution in the UNSC.

Hezbollah-Israel conflict for 10 days

Amid the year-long war with Hamas, the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel has been going on for the last 10 days. Actually, there was a pager attack in Lebanon on 17 September. Just a day later, there were explosions in walkie-talkie and solar energy systems. Hezbollah and Lebanon held Israel responsible for these attacks.

After this a conflict broke out between the two countries. Israel has been carrying out missile attacks in Lebanon for the last 7 days. According to Al Jazeera’s report, more than 620 Lebanese people have been killed in these attacks. Apart from this, more than 5 lakh people have had to leave their homes. Israel has named the operation being conducted in Lebanon as “Northern Arrows”.

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) launched the biggest attack on Lebanon on 23 September. The IDF carried out air strikes targeting 1600 positions of Hezbollah. It was claimed that 10 thousand rockets were destroyed. 569 people died in this attack.
