Answer: No matter how much planning you do, it didn’t work out. Question: How was the casting of the film decided? Jokingly, she was the second heroine, but I felt that she would be a good fit for this character. Question: What does the audience want in horror in India? I like to watch horror, which has love and emotions. I believe that the job of a filmmaker is to balance both. If the audience does not connect with the characters, they will not feel scared. That’s why horror has not become mainstream yet. I think that being scary would go against the image of some people. Have you ever suggested the subject to a big star? It is not necessary that every star wants to do it, but if the other person says that he will do it, then I understand that he has to make his mark in the industry. And I have my own audience. I sell some emotion or some comedy. When your shop starts running, you can do other things as well. For me, the identity remains the same. Question: How difficult is it to bring something new in horror, there is a need to bring something different in comedy? Answer: Many of my films are not liked at the time of release. But later on, ‘Raaz’ did not get good reviews. Same thing happened with ‘Haunted’ at the time of its release. I believe that only that film will be successful in future. Answer: I am not thinking about making this film. I am going to take some rest and then decide what to do next. If I start working on new stories during the holidays then maybe my daughter will be able to work hard for this film, but she will keep an eye on it.
