Hindi cinema’s He-Man Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89. Since his departure, people have been sharing memories and stories related to him. In such a situation, actor Nikitin Dheer wrote a very emotional post on social media. He told that when his father Pankaj Dheer died, Dharmendra himself was in ICU. Despite this, he called his mother and expressed his condolences and told her not to worry, he would return home soon.

Nikitin Dheer posted some pictures of Dharmendra, Hema Malini and father Pankaj Dheer on his Instagram. In its caption he wrote, My father and I often used to discuss who is the most successful hero of our film industry. Without hesitation he said Dharam uncle. He always used to say that he is the most manly, the most handsome, the most polite and he has a heart like original gold.

When my father died, Dharam uncle called my mother from the ICU and expressed his love and condolences. He told his mother that he would return home soon, not to worry.

Nikitin Dhir further wrote, his departure feels like a very personal sorrow. We have grown up in their lap. I always received only love and blessings from him. Always saw him with a smile that would light up the room. His hand was always raised to bless us. Thank you for your invaluable contribution to the world of cinema.

Thank you for filling our childhood with happiness. Thank you for showing how a man can and should be. No one can ever fill the void left by you. There will never be anyone else like Dharmendra.

Let us tell you, before being admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on 10th November, Dharmendra was also admitted on 31st October. Even then he had trouble breathing.
