The third match of the Test series between England and Sri Lanka is being played at The Oval ground in London. On the third day of the match, Sri Lanka was all out for 263 runs in the first session. England had scored 325 runs in the first innings, so they got a lead of 62 runs.

Pathum Nissanka scored 64, captain Dhananjay de Silva scored 69 and Kamindu Mendis scored 64 runs in the first innings from Sri Lanka. Josh Hull and Ollie Stone took 3-3 wickets from England. England is leading 2-0 in the 3 Test series.

Sri Lanka had a bad start on the third day Sri Lanka resumed their first innings on the third day with a score of 211/5. De Silva returned unbeaten after scoring 64 runs and Mendis returned unbeaten after scoring 54 runs.
