Trump also clarified that he would understand in the first two minutes of his meeting with Putin whether Russia is in a mood to compromise to end the Ukraine war. The US President said that after a meeting with Putin, he will talk to Ukraine President Valodimir Jailonsky.
Jailonski will not come to Alaska Meet: Trump
He expressed the possibility that the next meeting would either be with Jailonsky or with both Putin and Jailonski. However, Trump clarified that Jailonski would not attend this meeting to be held in Alaska. The US President said that in a meeting with the Russian President, he will try to withdraw some fields for Ukraine.
In the event of reaching an agreement, he also spoke about the exchange of some areas between the two countries.
