The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Heavy rains have been occurring in both the states for the last 5 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the strong system forming over Madhya Pradesh will move ahead from today. After this, the period of heavy rain will stop. There will be a huge decrease in rainfall in the state from September 19. So far, 1042mm of rain has fallen in the state.

At the same time, there is a flood situation in 21 districts of Uttar Pradesh due to heavy rains. More than 4 lakh people are affected. More than 15 villages in Jalaun are submerged in Yamuna.

On Tuesday, 26 districts received heavy rains. Sonbhadra received the highest rainfall of 74.5 mm. 220 villages in Lakhimpur Kheri district are submerged in water.

Heavy rain has been predicted in Rajasthan for the next two days. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the impact of the new system formed in the Bay of Bengal, there will be a rain alert in more than 22 districts of the state.
