Used to compete with neighbors during Diwali
Amitabh Bachchan once shared a funny memory related to Diwali in Kaun Banega Crorepati. He had told that in his childhood he used to compete with the children living in the neighborhood in bursting firecrackers. Big B had said, ‘When I grew up and got money, we started buying a lot of firecrackers to burst. We used to burst them in the ceiling. There used to be competition, because our neighborhood children also used to burst crackers on the rooftop. There was a competition as to whose firecracker made more noise. If they (neighbors) used to pay 4, we would pay 5. This continued throughout the night.
