A fire broke out in a building in Palam area in Delhi at 7 am on Wednesday. So far 9 people have died. These include 3 girls. The cause of the fire has not been known.
2 people jumped from a 3 storey building to save their lives, they suffered serious injuries. Delhi Fire Service (DFS) personnel have rescued 10 people.

People were rescued from cranes.
DFS personnel took the injured people to the nearest hospital. Where doctors declared 6 people dead. 35 year old Pravesh, 40 year old Kamal and 32 year old Ashu have lost their lives in this accident. Apart from this, three minor girls aged 12, 6 and 5 also died. He was brought to Manipal Hospital.
A 38-year-old woman was brought dead to IGI Hospital, while a 40-year-old man and a two-year-old girl are undergoing treatment. A 19-year-old youth has been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital. He has suffered 25% burns.
