The incident took place in Wedela Township, located south-west of Johannesburg, South Africa. According to Reuters, the incident occurred in Gauteng at around 9:30 pm on Saturday night. People were partying before the firing. During this the attackers brought AK-47 and opened fire. Police have launched a massive operation to search for the accused. Before this, a mass shooting had taken place 4 days earlier in Kwa-Makhutha area of South Africa. 12 people died in this. 8 unknown assailants fired at people. According to South African police, 8 unknown assailants reached the bar and started firing at the people sitting outside drinking alcohol. After this the attackers entered the bar and fired at the people present there. The reason behind the firing has not been revealed yet. Police said that the attackers had AK-47 rifles as well as pistols. After the firing, the attackers searched some people and snatched their mobile phones.
