Dhurandhar 2 became the third highest-grossing Indian film worldwide. The film’s worldwide earnings reached Rs 1,748.91 crore.
It overtook Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2 which earned Rs 1,742.10 crore. It is now behind only Dangal (₹2070 crore) and Bahubali 2 (₹1,788.06 crore).
According to trade website Sacknilk, the film collected a nett of Rs 4.65 crore in India on its 31st day of release. The film’s total India net collection now stands at Rs 1,110.47 crore, while its gross collection in India stands at Rs 1,329.31 crore. Gross collection is the total revenue from tickets and net collection is the revenue after tax.
The film earned Rs 1.10 crore in Overseas on its 31st day. With this, the total overseas gross collection of the film reached Rs 419.60 crore. At the same time, the worldwide gross collection of the film has now reached Rs 1,748.91 crore.
Dhurandhar 2 was released in theaters worldwide on March 19 (Thursday).
There has been a decline in the film’s earnings in the fifth week, but there was a slight increase on the weekend. While the film had a net collection of Rs 2.70 crore on the 30th day, it increased to Rs 4.65 crore on the 31st day.
The Hindi version of the film made the highest collection of Rs 4.50 crore on the 31st day, while the net collection in Tamil was Rs 6 lakh, in Telugu it was Rs 7 lakh and in Kannada it was Rs 2 lakh.
Ranveer Singh has played the role of an Indian spy in the Dhurandhar franchise. Whereas both the parts have been directed by Aditya Dhar.
Dhurandhar got a great response
The first part of Dhurandhar performed brilliantly at the Indian and international box office and earned around Rs 1,307 crore worldwide. The gross collection of the film in India was Rs 1,005.85 crore, while the net collection was approximately Rs 840 crore. The film received tremendous response in foreign markets also. It earned around Rs 299.5 crore in overseas. It also broke the record of Bahubali 2 by earning more than Rs 193.06 crore in America and Canada.
