Dhinakaran launched a scathing attack on Vijay and alleged that he was trying to influence the MLAs on the basis of money. He sarcastically said that Vijay calls himself a ‘thooya sakthi’ i.e. ‘spotless image’ leader, but according to him this is not right. On the other hand, IUML has clearly said that they are with MK Stalin.
Amidst this entire development, the equations for the formation of a new government in the state seem to be changing. TTV Dhinakaran met AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) has sent a letter to the Governor giving his support. In this letter he has clearly said that he is in favor of making Palaniswami the Chief Minister. Newly elected MLA from Mannargudi seat S. Kamaraj has also been mentioned in this support letter. In the letter sent to the Governor, it has been requested that Palaniswami be invited to form the government and he should be administered the oath of office as Chief Minister.
