US President Donald Trump on Monday talked about taking the cost of security of the Strait of Hormuz from other countries. He said that after the crisis is over, America should give money to those countries which did not help it. Trump said on Truth Social that the supply of oil from the Strait of Hormuz is still continuing. According to him, America has been working more for other countries than for its own interests for many generations. Referring to the ongoing conflict with Iran, he said that the countries which are benefiting from the movement of oil through Hormuz should also bear the cost of its security.
