Following the attack on Trump, a CNN report claimed that a conspiracy was being hatched in Iran to kill the former US President.
Former US President Donald Trump on Thursday called for the destruction of Iran. In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said, “If Iran ever succeeds in killing me, I hope America will destroy it. It will be wiped off the world map.”
Trump said that if this is not done then American leaders will be considered cowards. In fact, after the deadly attack on Trump on July 13, a CNN report claimed that a conspiracy was being hatched in Iran to kill the former US President.

The photos are from July 13, when Trump was attacked in Pennsylvania during a rally.
Claim- A conspiracy to kill Trump is being hatched from Iran
The investigation into the attack revealed that US officials had received information about it several weeks ago. However, it has not yet been revealed whether the attack on Trump has any connection to Iran or not.
After this, on July 25, Israeli PM Netanyahu also mentioned this during his speech in the US Parliament. Trump also posted a video clip of the same statement by Netanyahu in his post on Thursday.
In fact, Trump was attacked while addressing a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. During this, a bullet grazed Trump’s ear. The attacker was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Crooks. He fired 8 bullets from an AR-15 rifle. Immediately after the firing, Secret Service officers shot down the attacker.

Iranian General Qasim Suleimani used to carry out Iranian missions abroad. Suleimani was killed in a US airstrike in Baghdad.
Iran has threatened to take revenge for Suleimani’s death
Earlier last year too, Iran had threatened to kill former US President Trump. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Aerospace Force head Amirali Hajizadeh had said that if God wills, we will definitely kill Trump. We want to kill all those military commanders who were involved in the killing of Iranian military commander Qasim Suleimani.
In fact, on 3 January 2020, on the orders of then US President Donald Trump, his army and the CIA together killed the head of the Iranian special forces, General Qasim Suleimani. General Qasim was famous for fighting against the terrorist organization Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
In 2019, when US President Trump threatened Iran with destruction for breaking the nuclear deal, General Qasim had said that if Trump starts a war, we will end it. After Suleimani’s death, Iran also attacked the US Embassy in Baghdad on 7-8 January 2020. It fired 22 missiles on US military bases. Iran claimed that 80 US soldiers were killed in this attack.
