The BBC reported that Walz did not have a good start. But later he made a good comeback. At the same time, according to some experts, Vance expressed his views in very strict words. He looked comfortable the whole time. Regarding Walz’s promises, he repeatedly tried to remind the audience that the Democratic Party is still in power. The promises he is making could have been fulfilled during this tenure.
There are elections for the post of President in America on 5th November. This was the last debate of both the major parties. Two debates have taken place so far for the post of President. Tim Walz and JD Vance shake hands before the debate.

Walz appeared aggressive at times during the debate.

The debate between the two leaders lasted for 90 minutes.

Walz was seen with his wife Gwen after the debate concluded.

Vance’s wife Usha was also present during the debate.
Unlike Trump and Biden, the vice presidential candidates from both parties shook hands before the debate. Debated on issues such as the Middle East crisis, the American economy, abortion, health care, immigration, gun violence, climate change.
During the debate, Democrat leader Walz said that 80-year-old Trump focuses on gathering crowds rather than focusing on the real issue. During the debate, leaders of both parties criticized the presidential candidates instead of criticizing each other.
Both candidates supported Israel The debate started with the Middle East crisis. Minnesota Governor Walz said that America should continue its presence in the Middle East and stand with Israel. The Democratic leader said that Kamala Harris understands the importance of her fellow countries, whereas Donald Trump’s record of helping his fellow countries has not been good.
In response, Republican candidate Vance said that Walz’s allegations are baseless. When Trump was President, he supported Israel a lot. Vance said that we must help our allies no matter how bad their circumstances are.
Important points of the debate between Walz and Vance…
1. On Iran
Tim Walz- We had a coalition of countries that stopped Iran’s nuclear program. But Trump ended it. Because of his poor leadership, Iran came closer to making nuclear weapons. Iran’s atomic power is continuously increasing.
JD Vance- During his four years, Trump increased America’s strength and maintained peace in the world. JD Vance praised Trump and said that due to Trump’s policies there was stability in this world.
2. Economy
Tim Walz- The Democratic Party is concerned about the middle class. The party will try to reduce the tax burden from the shoulders of the middle class.
JD Vance- The condition of the American economy is getting worse. We will fix this by adopting simple solutions. For this we will not listen to experts but will listen to common people. Trump did the same thing.

Tim Walz said that 80-year-old Trump talks about crowd pleasing rather than real issues.
3. Immigration
JD Vance- 25 million people in America are illegal immigrants. The lives of American citizens have been ruined by Kamala Harris’s open border policies.
Tim Walz- Trump had promised to build a wall on the Mexico border but during his tenure even 2% of the border wall could not be built. Trump had said that he would collect money from Mexico to build the wall but he did not pay even a penny.
4. Abortion
Tim Walz- In Minnesota we allowed abortion laws to remain in place. Trump is a supporter of ban on abortion. The former President played a major role in the appointment of three Supreme Court judges who overturned the constitutional right to abortion.
JD Vance- Our country is very big and full of diversity. The thinking of the people of California may be different from the thinking of the people of Georgia. Therefore, we believe that states should have the right to take decisions on the issue of abortion.

Vance said that if the Republican government is formed, the work of building a wall on the border with Mexico will be resumed.
5. Gun Violence
JD Vance- Mental health and drug use are a major cause of gun deaths. We need to increase the security of our schools.
Tim Walz- We cannot turn our schools into fortresses. Will insist on background checks of people buying guns.
Will the debate between the Vice Presidential candidates affect the Presidential election?
According to the BBC, American political history shows that the debate between candidates for the post of Vice President does not really matter. In 1988, Democrat Lloyd Bentsen defeated Republican candidate Dan Quayle. But George Bush Sr. won the presidential election. However, Vance’s good performance is believed to boost the enthusiasm of Republican leaders.
